As a leader at Cornerstone I would like to specifically request of you to prepare you spirit-man for this coming weekend of ministry.
Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. To review, we have asked our people to pray and fast this week. For some that meant 1 meal a day and replace it with prayer. For others they choose to fast 1-whole day in prayer. Either way, could you join with me tomorrow (Friday) morning in fasting for Sunday's outpouring from Heaven.
It is vital that we as the leadership of CCF are prepared spiritually to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit this Sunday. While we will allow the Holy Spirit to direct the service, I am believing God for the Laying on of Hands, Healings, Baptisms of the Spirit, Deliverance, and the Spiritual Gifts in all their variety to be active.
Please be prepared Spiritually, Physically and Mentally to be involved in a powerful time of ministry this Sunday. If you are able to be there at 9:30, we'll be praying in the Sanctuary.
Thanks and see you then!

Consumed with NEW POWER
One book only 100 pages long published
by the Department of Justice and that can be downloaded is a book
that no parent wants to read. The title is When Your Child is
Missing. Key bullet points and action steps are on the cover of
the book, like:
- You’re not alone,
- Hope is essential,
- Trust your feelings and share them with law enforcement officials,
- Distribute pictures,
- Keep your focus,
- Exercise caution,
- and the final exhortation is Never stop looking.
The book tells the story of the parents
of Jacob Wetterling who have been searching for him since 1989. They
post messages saying, “We’re still searching for you and we will
never quit.” Parents will spare no expense as with resolute
passion they search for their missing children. They are
CONSUMED!
Deuteronomy 4:24 says, "For the LORD your God is a consuming fire..." What CONSUMES God... Simply... GOD IS CONSUMED WITH FINDING HIS "LOST" CHILDREN. From the Garden of Eden through the end of Revelation God is passionately pursuing His lost Children.
Following Christ's resurrection from the dead, he appears to his followers for the next 40 then tells his disciples to wait in Jerusalem. Why wait?... The father in heaven was going to send them a NEW POWER so that they could bring His Lost Children back home (be His witnesses).
Acts 1:8 reads, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you
will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to
the ends of the earth.”
Take some time this week to Read Acts 2 and ask yourself the question, "Have I received God's power through the Holy Spirit? If the answer is no, then ask God to baptize you (consume you) like he did in Acts. If he has baptized you, are you operating in that power on a daily basis...
God never stops looking for his "lost children" and neither should we.
